Construction of Waste Water Treatment Plant in Harilaci

The first modern biological waste water treatment plant has been constructed in Harilaci a small town situated near the main road connecting Pristhina with the International Airport by the consortium Waste Water Treatment Harilaci. Ircon is the leader of this consortium while the other members are Czech companies TopolWater and Dekonta. The local partner is company Project Plus. The WWTP technology is Monoblok T 1230 EQ.

Besides the construction of the WWTP with the modern biological treatment technology based on aeration processes the project consists of the capacity building component (trainings in Operation and Maintenance) and educational campaign mainly in cooperation with the local primary and secondary school in Harilaci.

This project has been implemented between 2011 and 2013 and is funded by Czech Development Agency within the Czech Development Cooperation.
